Terms of use for the Aburrá Motors website and services

1. Acceptance
By browsing this site or submitting any of its forms, you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the site.
2. Nature of the service
Aburrá Motors is a vehicle dealership operating virtually in Medellín and the Valle de Aburrá. It sells its own vehicles and acts as an authorized intermediary in the sale of third-party vehicles under a consignment arrangement.
In financing and insurance services, we act as facilitators before financial institutions and insurers. We are not a financial institution or an insurance company, and we do not grant loans or issue policies on our own account.
3. Catalog information
Information about each vehicle (price, mileage, features, and condition) is published in good faith based on our inspection and on information provided by the owner. It may contain errors or omissions and is subject to verification.
- Prices are expressed in Colombian pesos and do not include paperwork, insurance, or taxes, unless stated otherwise.
- The listing does not constitute an irrevocable commercial offer under Article 845 of the Colombian Commercial Code.
- Prices and availability may change without notice until the contract is signed.
- Images are for reference. Before buying, you may request additional photos and videos of the actual vehicle.
4. Loan calculator
The calculator is an informational tool that computes an estimated payment using French amortization based on the values you enter.
- It does not constitute an offer or a loan approval.
- The default rate is a reference and does not necessarily match the rate you’ll be approved for.
- The calculation does not include insurance, handling fees, credit checks, or other costs the lender may charge.
- Approval, amount, term, and rate depend exclusively on the lender and your credit profile.
5. Appraisals
The initial appraisal we provide based on the information and photos you send us is an estimated, non-binding range. The final price is set after an in-person technical inspection of the vehicle and may differ from the initial estimate.
6. Paperwork and timelines
The timelines for procedures published on the site are estimates under normal conditions and depend on transit authorities, the national registry (RUNT), and third parties beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays attributable to those entities, but we will keep you informed of the status.
Tax costs, transit fees, and other amounts set by the authority are not determined by us and are disclosed to you separately from our fee.
7. Consignment
Consignment is governed by the contract signed in each case, which sets the listing price, the authorized minimum price, the commission, and the term. During the consignment period, the owner retains title to the vehicle.
8. WhatsApp communications
The site’s forms open a WhatsApp conversation with the message already drafted. Actual sending depends on you confirming it in the app. WhatsApp is a third-party service governed by its own terms and its own privacy policy.
9. Intellectual property
The content, text, design, and graphic elements of this site belong to Aburrá Motors, except for vehicle manufacturers’ trademarks, which belong to their respective owners and are used solely to identify the product offered.
10. Consumer rights
These terms are interpreted without prejudice to the rights that Law 1480 of 2011 (Colombian Consumer Protection Statute) grants consumers in Colombia, including those related to warranty, truthful information, and contractual protection.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Aburrá Motors’s domicile.
